Though originally constructed to serve the West Gate Tunnel Project, the facility continues to serve Victoria’s Big Build Projects.
Scope of works:
Turnkey electrical, automation and communications design and installation for the largest precast facility in the southern hemisphere, comprising 3 large factory buildings, several office complexes, outbuildings, and 2 batching plants.
Deacam delivered not only design and construct for the electrical and communications services, but also automation packages for the various machines required to produce all concrete precast elements for the Victorias West Gate Tunnel Project.
The facility continues to support the local economy and job market in Benalla, whilst supplying high quality product to Victoria’s largest evert infrastructure projects.

Soil resistivity testing.

Site wide CCTV.
Installation and commissioning of gantry, portal, and semi-portal cranes.
Installation of street lighting including underground cable systems, poles, and luminaires.
Underground cable systems installation.
Light, power, and switchboards installation.
Automated Batching plant installation and commissioning.
Automation segment carousel installation and commissioning.
Design and construct automation control systems for stressing systems, remote control vibration control systems, and water treatment systems.
Design and construct bespoke dual-lift crane synchronization systems.
